2023 Strategic Program Speakers

Sheena Nakonechny has built a strong reputation as a leader in her role as the Senior Manager of Stakeholder Relations at Women Building Futures. Her previous work in heavy industrial supporting major projects across Alberta allows her to bring knowledge and innovation to WBF. Sheena brings a thorough understanding of the various industries, projects and roles that help inform WBF’s training curriculum and supports in connecting graduates with meaningful, long-term career opportunities with WBF Employer of Choice Partners.  WBF’s mission of economic security for women fuels her passion at work while advocating for systemic change to ensure inclusive worksites are accessible to everyone.
